Sunway International School Sunway City Iskandar Puteri campus is an international school serving kindergarten through high school students, located in the integrated township of “Sunway City Iskandar Puteri” near Johor Bahru, Johor State, Malaysia. Opened in 2017, this suburban campus set amidst lush greenery features state-of-the-art learning facilities with high-tech equipment, interactive classrooms that nurture creativity and inquiry, and sports facilities—creating a vibrant learning community where children think and act for themselves every day.
Based on the Canadian Ontario curriculum, the school also offers the International Baccalaureate (IB Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme) for upper-year students, providing education that develops creative thinking and international perspectives.

Adopting the Canadian Ontario curriculum, the school cultivates essential early childhood skills including “reading, writing, and arithmetic,” “problem-solving,” and “21st century skills” through play and inquiry. Small class sizes with experienced teachers and assistants work as a team to support learning, encouraging each child’s growth toward their aspirations.

Based on the Canadian Ontario elementary curriculum, the program emphasizes literacy, numeracy, global competence, 21st century skills, and character education. Through a learner-centered approach that addresses individual learning needs, the school develops active citizens who can contribute to their community and the world.

The Middle School (Grades 6-10) develops inquiry-based and comprehensive thinking skills through the IB (International Baccalaureate) Middle Years Programme (MYP). At the senior level, students can choose from internationally recognized university preparation programs including the IB Diploma (IB DP) or IB Career-related Programme (IB CP).
The school offers extensive activities both inside and outside school, as well as STEAM and leadership programs, creating an environment that nurtures not only learning but also character and social skills.
